Situated immediately southwest of Minneapolis, Edina’s location is easily accessible to both Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Freeways and highways near Edina’s well-planned residential sections provide quick and convenient travel routes. Minnesota Highways 100 and 62 intersect Edina, dividing the community into four quadrants. Minnesota Highway 169 and Interstate Highway 494 run adjacent to the City.

  • The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host an informational open house regarding the proposed I-169/I-494 interchange reconstruction project on Thursday, Feb. 11. The open house is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Braemar Room at Braemar Golf Course, 6364 John Harris Drive.

     

    Information about the project, including proposed design layouts and right of way and noise and air data, will be on display, as well as information about roundabouts. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the cities of Edina, Eden Prairie and Bloomington will be on hand to answer questions and receive public input.
