Community public health services such as health education and promotion, communicable disease prevention programs, public health nursing services, home health visits, maternal and child health services, health assessments and public health emergency preparedness are provided by Bloomington Public Health Services.

As a Community Health Board, the City is required to complete an assessment of community health needs. Below are links to health data that was collected and analyzed in 2007-2008.
