Coyote Hit by Car

Edina, Minn., Nov. 9, 2006 -- The coyote that has been seen in Edina over the past few weeks was struck and killed by a vehicle near the intersection of France Avenue and Parklawn Avenue Nov. 7.

Edina Animal Control Officer Tim Hunter wants residents to know that there are still animals in the community “…[that] people need to be aware of because they also may need a wide berth. And, to some extent, we have to live with them. Certainly if the animal displays any aggressive or unusual behavior, call 911.”
